Thank you for your interest in joining The Damned.

If you are simply joining our website, fill in all mandatory fields and place N/A in all boxes which would be pertinent to joining the Kinship such as raid experience and Friends in The Damned.

If you are applying to join the kinship, please read the paragraphs below and then proceed to the form and fill in ALL mandatory fields fully. Be specific wherever possible. It will help us to better evaluate your application. Once received an officer will be in touch with you in game for an interview and from there we will make our decision.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING TO JOIN THE DAMNED!!!!!

WE ARE A RAIDING KIN!!! (but that doesnt mean we don't have fun) We welcome friendly people, people who raid regularly and people who raid not as regularly but bring something to our social network. We are all for having fun, but getting the job done at the same time :) Please do not however make the mistake of thinking we don't take raiding seriously.

We raid several nights a week. There is NO mandatory number of raids you must attend or anything like that but we would like people to have an interest in raiding if they expect to join The Damned. We are always seeking new challenges, and we are looking for people who would like to meet those challenges with us, and work hard as part of a team to accomplish like minded goals.

Optimally, we would like our potential members to have raiding experience and the ability to play their character without constant direction. It is important you have the ability to play as a part of a team, have a willingness to learn, and to improve your character and your skills if necessary. Following a raid leader's instructions and being on Ventrilo during raids is mandatory. If you join us at a lower level, we do not necessarilly expeect you to have that experience but we do expect you to have common sense and a desire to make your character as good as you can.

We would like our members (above all else) to respect one another and be helpful to one another. People cannot expect to GET help if they will not GIVE help. It is also important to remember that the sooner people learn to work together and play well together the more successful we will be when end game stuff comes up. So be social, be helpful, respect your kinnies and your officers and they will do the same for you.

We have a 4 week trial period for all new recruits, and if at the end of that trial you are not found to be a suitable match with the kin we will notify you and remove you from the ranks. No need to panic, this hasn't happened very often. Maybe 4 times since we formed. For the most part, if we invite you for a trial, we think we match each other.

This is an 18 and over kinship. Please be honest about your age. If we find out you lied to us and are under 18, you will be removed from our kin. We dont play games with this. We are mature people, we want to keep it that way. Don't try to fool us. You will not be the first to fail.We have been known to make exceptions for people age 17 under extreme circumstances. We do this on a case by case basis and reserve the right to accept or refuse any application we see fit. We will NOT be forced to take one player under 18 just because we accepted another. Again, this is done on a case by case basis and at our discretion.

We do NOT allow dual kinned players. It causes issues we would rather not get involved with. Please respect that. Don't try to sneak around it, we always find out in the end, and when we do you will be asked to leave the kin. Simply put, if you join The Damned with one of your characters, you join The Damned with ALL of your characters. If you have a character in another kinship, you will need to chose us or them. We cannot get the sort of commitment we need from people if they have characters in kins all over Middle Earth.

If you cannot follow directions, or if you take pleasure in annoying or aggrivating people, starting unnecessary trouble, or being greedy this is NOT the kinship for you. Don't waste our time, or your own.

If you like to have a good time, are in search of end game content with a fun and friendly and slightly insane group of people who respect one another and other people, and cherish the times when we laugh so hard we cry, we may very well be what you are looking for!
